Thriftmaster Global Biosciences

reimagining modern healthcare

Thriftmaster Global Biosciences was founded in 2019 to further the pursuit of alternative, novel therapies and treatments for a variety of diseases and ailments.

As the 2018 Farm Bill legalized Hemp throughout the United States, an opportunity arose to clinically corroborate Cannabidiol as a viable treatment for a myriad of our most troublesome and mysterious diseases.

In the early stages of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, Thriftmaster began a fruitful partnership with the University of Augusta, GA. Throughout the duration of the Pandemic, University Researchers uncovered direct links between Thriftmaster Products and positive regulatory effects on ARDS (the cytokine storm-inducing condition responsible for the majority of COVID illness and death) in mice models. These promising results have spurred further pre-clinical testing into efficacy towards indications for therapeutic use in aliments including Alzheimer’s disease, on-set Migraines and Glioblastoma.

JANUARY 2020

Beginnings

our initial IRB

Dr. Rahul Dixit, TGH chief science officer (CSO), initiated a relationship with Dr. Neeraj Gupta of Asclepes Research Center, P.C. of Buena Park Ca. Asclepes began working with TGH on clinical research through a prospective study of treatment for pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and/or myalgia. The study was approved January 31st, 2020 just weeks before the nationwide Covid-19 shutdown. After two years of Covid-related delays and ongoing health care industry strain exasperated by the pandemic, TGH agreed to postponed the IRB with the goal of resuming it concurrently with other IRB studies managed by University of Augusta and IND applications with the FDA.

AUGUST 2020

Our Research Partners

The University of Augusta Georgia

TGH built upon its initial IRB by initiating a research relationship/sponsorship with Augusta University Dental and Medical School through Dr. Babak Baban, Professor and Associate Dean for Research at the Dental College of Georgia (Departments of Neurology and Surgery) and the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. Having followed the progress of Dr. Baban’s cannabis related research through his published papers, TGH found Dr. Baban’s and Augusta University’s research potentially well suited for the use of its inhaled CBD formulations. In August of 2020 TGH and Augusta University agreed to a research sponsorship relationship utilizing the Company’s Metered Dose Inhaler and proprietary formulations as the delivery system for certain CBD and THC formulations. Thriftmaster supported Augusta University’s research through sponsorship funding, third party lab testing, CBD and CBC and THC product formulation, placebo design, and research assistance for the various, IRB and FDA Investigational New Drug applications. In return for the financial, product and research support the University has exclusively licensed to Thriftmaster the intellectual property created by Dr. Baban’s cannabidiol research for commercial purposes.
