Dr. Evila da Silva Lopes Salles serves as Junior Faculty at Augusta University, where shecontributes to the academic and research missions of the institution. Holding a PhD in Physiology and possessing postdoctoral experience in Clinical Immunology, Dr. Salles specializes in cancer immunology, immunology of pregnancy, and inflammatory diseases. Currently, she lectures on embryology at the Dental College of Georgia, fostering the education of future dental professionals. Additionally, Dr. Salles investigates the therapeutic applications of cannabinoids in immune regulation, demonstrating a commitment to advancing both scientific knowledge and clinical practice.
